Make A Statement With Your Look
There are so many amazing things about this look. I say amazing because everything I'm wearing makes a statement. Hehe... If you've been following me, you'll notice that this is the third time I have worn this top from Zara. Good tops come in handy! Right?! Bell sleeves already bring attention to your outfit but wearing it with textured bottoms are even better. There is something to be said about textured items. In this look, of course the skirt by Ella Moss says it all! Can you believe that I purchased it only for $12?!!! I know, I still can't believe it either! This purchase happened to be a rare day, lol! I found it at Crossroads Trading, and it was brand new with tags! Someone didn't want it so I snatched it! Ha!
So I'm going to let you in on a little secret, every now and then I sell my clothes at trading companies and I'll browse around to see if I find anything that looks appealing. I know the thought of wearing something used may sound gross. But believe it or not you don't have to purchase used items, I usually don't. The key to going to a trading company is finding brand new items with tags. Believe it or not people give away a lot of free clothes or sell it. How about that!! When I saw this skirt, I was like a little kid jumping for joy because for one it was brand new and second it called my name. Lol!
As for the bag, it speaks for itself! I bought it at Zara last year. Definitely gives your outfit a pop. My platforms are by Lamb from Nordstrom , bought it years ago and probably my 5th time wearing them. I received lots of compliments on this whole entire look. When receiving compliments I always say thank you but the feeling I get is amazing. Knowing that you are doing a good job at styling yourself is rewarding. I've always been one to get all dolled up so my biggest fear after having my son was losing myself and what I love to do. My blog may focus more on my outfits/ beauty but I'm trying to make a statement that I can still do me while being a mother. For me it's very important! Even if it's going to a spa, manicure or getting your hair done, the feeling is amazing! Knowing that you are taking care of yourself is so important! Anyway, sorry for yapping along lol!
